Film Study: Reviewing Reese & Cardoso's Usage in Game 1 of the Tyler Marsh Era

Analyzing the highs and lows of Marsh's efforts to get his young frontcourt duo involved in his first game on the Sky bench.

Chicago suffered a disappointing defeat away against the Indiana Fever on Saturday with neither of Angel Reese (12 pts, 5/14 FG) or Kamilla Cardoso (7, 3/9 FG) finding much rhythm at the offensive end. But was it the Sky struggling to find their young core in the right spots? Or the individuals failing to execute once they got there? I dove into the film to analyze how new head coach Tyler Marsh used his core, where there’s room for improvement and why game one showed a clear departure from some of the failures of last season.
